2  Re: koolhaas hat in Knitalongs by Abril on: November 19, 2007 08:46:54 AM
I finished mine!

It's not for me, but hopefully I'll be making another one soon.

I used Lion Brand's Wool-Ease. I messed up the pattern repeats (you can see it in the picture), but I like how it turned out.
More info on my blog
Thanks!

4  Two summer knits! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Abril on: August 08, 2007 08:48:29 PM
I'm finally done with these two:

Sleeveless Top from VK Spring/summer 2004

I used 6 balls of Classic Elite's Bam Boo in Flamingo

and

Short Sleeve Lacy Cardi from VK Spring/summer 2007

I used almost 6 balls of a Mexican yarn Omega's Sinfonia 100% cotton

Neither is perfect, but I can live with it...for now.

For more pictures and details check my blog.

Thanks!

5  Re: New VK Lace Cardigan KAL? in Knitalongs by Abril on: August 08, 2007 06:19:43 PM
I'm finally done!

It really gave me a headache, but it's done. I think it could have turned out better, but I like it anyways. If I ever knit this again, I'll add more length to it and definitely use a different yarn (this one was too stiff).

Check my blog for more pictures and details.

6  Mini Clapotis in Noro Silk Garden in Knitting: Completed Projects by Abril on: July 15, 2007 03:25:54 PM
This is a mini clapotis in noro silk garden lite (2015). I used 3 skeins and it ended up measuring almost 79" long x 11"  across.
I knitted this while on vacation, so it ended up being my souvenir scarf  Wink
