1  Re: Rabbit stuffie (23/05/06 PATTERN ADDED) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by paprika428 on: January 10, 2007 06:12:49 AM
Okay- My turn, my turn!!!
I found this thread yesterday and got to work during naptime Grin
I had two wool sweaters I shrunk in the wash and ended up turning into bunny felt. He was hand sewn and embroidered.
I modified (ie, messed up) the pattern a little bit and Squooooooshy was born! (My son, Jake, named him.) First thing he asked was where's his tail??? oops- maybe he's a tail-less bunny? My husband doesn't thinks he looks like a bunny  Embarrassed
Jake and I love him...

Plump bunny aka Squooooooshy
Hmmm...good handles! Squoooooshy is now carried around by the ears. (he doesn't mind...)

Thank you for the pattern and the new family member!

The font was hand drawn onto the shirt from Jenny's new book. (Just back stitches alternating red and green.)
Thanks, Jonathan (pictured above) for the cute pose!

Okay I hope y'all can get my humor and I won't get blasted by all the cat lovers on Craftster (I'll keep my fingers crossed- I'm a nice person really!)  My family is highly allergic to cats- I am so allergic if I sit next to someone who owns I cat I can tell, hence my newest embroidery...

I am just kidding, btw!

Here are some napkins for a newlywed couple:

Thanks to all for the inspirations and to Jenny for the great patterns!!

p.s. Yeah! I figured out how to put the pics in!!! :>)

Last update 1/2/07: here's the "Big Brother" t-shirt I made:
