1  Re: cute cuts for curly hair...help me out here? in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by pixiewhip on: March 30, 2006 01:29:23 PM
This is my hair about a year ago.  My hair is about the same curliness as yours when long.  I really liked this style, I think i'm going back to it soon.  Super easy to style.  I just scrunched some styling cream in when wet and let it dry naturally.  I hope your hair turns out well, anybody cutting off their hair for such a worthy cause deserves rocking locks.

2  Re: a short, no-hassle style with curly hair -- possible? in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by pixiewhip on: March 20, 2005 10:36:35 PM
Totally possible.   All I do is wet my hair, scrunch in gel or mousse and leave the house with wet hair.  The way it is cut makes my curls managable, when it gets longer my hair is total ringlets, but this haircut somehow straightens it out a bit.

I can't get this to show up right. But if you just save it onto your computer you should be able to enlarge it.

I didn't save my altered image, but here is the basic stencil that I used.  I just lengthened it and drew in an extra branch.

The shirt is actually grey, not brown, like I said my camera doesn't really capture colour.

I made this shirt for my friend for Xmas by modding a stencil I found on freewebs.   Then I used a roller brush to meld 3 colours of fabric paint together to create an ominous sunset.

I wish my camera wasn't so shoddy -  the colours are a fair bit more intense than the pics let on.

6  My first stencil -- SARS mask in Stenciling: Completed Projects by pixiewhip on: December 30, 2004 09:59:11 PM
So I used the "classic" SARS mask stencil for my sister in laws xmas pres.  I'm totally happy with the way it worked out.  Now on to bigger and better things!
