OK. I'll get the questionnaire written and uploaded some time today. This should be a laugh.

Lucy looks great in her sweater! The pattern is Penny from Knitty and the yarn is Rowan Kid Classic. The inspiration for the mini socks actually came from the little pegs. I saw them in the craft shop and thought "mini pegs... mini washing line... OMG mini socks" Grin. I think they'd be a little bit too small for Lucy though. But you've got me thinking, MyWitsAnd4...

I'm really glad you liked everything Mini. It was a really fab swap.

OK... how does this sound: signups til 25 Sept; sendouts by 30 October? I know that's quite a long time but there might be extensive research involved Wink
25  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Pine Cone Fire (fairy) Starters...with a little how to on: September 11, 2007 02:08:35 AM
Such a good idea! and a much more environmentally-friendly way of lighting a fire than those paraffin wax sticks which stink to high heaven. I'm going to be on the lookout for pine cones next time I'm out for a walk.

Wow this is going to be a very high quality swap. The Firefairy stuff is ace! I'd like to know how to make the firestarters, they'd be a great gift for my husband.

Anyway here are some photos of the lovely stuff I got from Cupcakeaccessories.

A foxy box, with hand-drawn pictures

Inside I found a brilliant polymer clay ring

and matching bracelet

a notebook

A rubber (eraser to you Americans Wink) made of eraser clay. Superb.

and embroidered gloves and pincushion. Cupcakeaccessories said they aren't part of the 'official' package as she wasn't happy with the embroidery, but it look pretty bloomin good to me Cheesy

And this is what the box looked like when I'd emptied it: lots of lovely sparkly bits and stickers and a scented sachet to make it all smell nice.

aren't I lucky?

I'm in britain, so you can get their products and loads of others and beads, tams the works (and also tips) on http://www.dreadworx.co.uk

I'm a British dreadhead too! I use KnottyBoy shampoo which I usually buy from the Hemp Shop in Brighton. Thanks for the link to Dreadworx though -- that'll be really useful. Yay for UK dreadies Grin
