1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Gray Denim Balloon Skirt [IMG Heavy] on: December 16, 2005 07:18:09 PM
Well, I'm not sure if it's the appropriate term but it's what I call it.

My picture is horrible, but it's supposed to look like this --->

The skirt is supposed to poof out at the waist-band.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Gray Denim Balloon Skirt [IMG Heavy] on: December 16, 2005 01:41:15 PM
Well, it's not totally a balloon skirt because it isn't poofy enough, but whatever. Here it is...

Excuse the awkward pose and the messy room.

Making the waist band was freaking hard. I had to seam rip like 4825837 times.

&&& hurr is a close-up of the material

The zipper is from an old pair of jeans that I had when I was 9.

If the pictures suck hurr are the links ---

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Assorted Flower Knit Bag on: December 16, 2005 01:17:32 PM
I finished sewing it all together yesterday. The bag is knit, the strap and the flowers are crochet and the material for the inside was from Walmart. Smiley

I must have had my camera on the wrong setting because the colors aren't as bright in real life. They're more muted and vintagy looking.

The flowers

So,,, what do you think?
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: More translucent beads!! (updated 12/12) on: December 13, 2005 01:30:57 PM
OMG. I love the black necklace. Everything looks so pretty!

Wow. I love the tank top. It looks awesome. You must have alot of patience, I don't think I would be able to sew on all of those tiny beads.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Hoop & Bead Necklace on: December 13, 2005 01:25:13 PM
23947532 beads + jump hoop things + procrastination = 1 necklace Wink

So, what do you think? BTW - I broke all of my fingers because I couldn't find any pliers or whatever to open and close the hoops. But,,, I think it was worth it.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Dog Sweater / Coat Thing on: December 10, 2005 07:32:51 AM
It's getting cold outside and my little puppy (14 months old, she's not that little) needed something to keep her warm.

My gauge is horrible and inconsistant, don't pay any attention to it.   Wink

The first pic. is blurry, but it's still cute.

The body is knit and the pocket and teal things are crochet.

I put it on her yesterday and she didn't tear / rip it up.  Grin
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / White, Brown, Teal Stripe Scarf on: December 08, 2005 05:32:42 PM
I made this for my firend who moved to Ukraine as part of her Christmas present. It's my first actual big-ish crochet project and I'm so proud of myself because I made it in two days, but I was on a crochet binge so that explains why it took such a short time to make.

Sorry if the images don't work. This is my first image-posting post.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Fall '05 Anthropologie Cloche Knockoff! (pattern added) on: November 08, 2005 06:42:56 PM
Dude. I just finished one of those and I put all of these flowers, sequins, buttons, and beads on it. I thought it was reeeeally pretty, but then I went somewhere with my mom and my dog got a hold of it and totally destroyed it. Today was a really sad day.  Cry But I once I get pretty yarn I'll make 490183759 more of those cloche hats and I'll post all of them.  Wink
