PICK ME! PICK ME!

Happy Halloween!.
My name is Brianne and I live in Alberta, Canada.
I am sort of like that story book about the cat with two homes. I live where school is but end up back at my parents every weekend. (It's only 2 hours apart)
I am 19 years young and I love getting letters. I am mojoring in English and Biology. I love science jokes. I also love creative writting. I craft: scarpbooking, knitting, crochet, beading and I am trying to learn to quilt. I also do alot of generic crafts like paper mache and decoupage etc.

322  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: "_____ in a box" gift ideas. on: October 31, 2005 08:06:47 PM
I only read about 30 pages so this may have been done. but I am doing this for my boyfriend because we love movies and spending copious amounts of time together so...
Night In  Wink In A Box
- two dvds (his favourites)  or
- a coupon/money for two rentals of his choice
-caramel corn
-5 cent candies
-gift cert. for macs for slurpees
-blanket
-condoms
-a sexy game (i picked out this game with different cards)
-a little karma sutra box that has a wonderful variety of things like massage oil, lube, a feather, dusting powder etc.

It would also be fun to make this one a Cozy Day In box with hot chocolate or fancy coffee mix and the stuff to make microwave smores and such.

(please note: these are not my photos. I googled "calgary zombie walk" and got this link.)

unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it home for the zombie walk this year, but hopefully if and when there is another one, I will be there... with bells brains on! (oh, cheese!) I WAS able to make my own sweet zombie costume, though, which you can see here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57200.180

that is my EXACT situation. but i was at zombie walk and I am in some of those pictures.
also- Twine- you make a wonderful zombie.
324  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Would this work? on: October 31, 2005 07:15:54 PM
I am absolutly new to quilting! My mom and grandma have been able to give me a few tips but I am wondering if this is a plausible idea.
I wanted to make one of those quults out of old sheets from cartoons for my bf for christmas but i have been haveing a tough time finding enough old sheets!. i was wondering it i took a flat sheet as a base and did iron on images and then quilted it to the bottom sheet would that work? this would be a sort of "lazy girl quilting" but has anyone tried this or does anyone even think it will work?
thanks!
