11  UNITED STATES / Indiana / Re: Hoosiers? on: July 30, 2004 09:04:49 PM
Eva! I am so glad there's someone up here with me. Yep, I'm going to Purdue.. fun, fun. We need to find more West Lafayette/Lafayette people. Like I said I'm all for get-togethers, I'd even go to Indy if I had to!

YAY!!! Someone from Indiana finally posts. After asking for our own board we kind of just sat there. Everyday I would look at this folder and go "hmm, I need to put something in there, I'll do it tomorrow." Anyway, I'm up here in West Lafayette. It would certainly be wonderful if to gather enough people to have get-ogethers like all the other states (they make me jealous). Come on Hoosiers! There's got to be more than two of us.
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: T-shirt Halter with EVIL BROCCOLI!!! on: June 23, 2004 11:22:13 PM
I've never had brussel sprouts if you can believe it, and I really like broccoli. I think I'm going to have to make other versions of this just for the hell of it, and since everyone likes them so much. There are so many possibilities... "Carrots are bullies." "Beats are mean." I could go on forever. Now I just have to get around to making them... Thanks again everyone for liking my silly little shirt. You're all the best!

Thank you so much!!! I'm really glad you like it. I'm extremely flattered that my shirt is one of two "loves." You made me feel special!
17  COOKING / Dessert / Re: frozen recipies .... on: June 20, 2004 07:07:16 PM
Oh, ookpik and Inna, those both sound wonderful. I'm definitely going to have to try them. Surely I have most of those ingredients somewhere around here. I might even have to get on this tonight.
18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: so... im real bad at this stenciling thing... on: June 20, 2004 01:14:38 PM
I've not had any problems with stickiness. One time I left the stencil on a little long and it left a little nub of adhesive ont the shirt. It was really easy to pick off, though.

I always use overhead transparencies with spray adhesive on the back. It's always worked extremely well.
20  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: felt appliqued merit badges on: June 20, 2004 12:45:04 AM
Wow, those are awesome. Did you do all the appliqe-ing by hand? The stitches are so even, so I would say machine, but the shapes would be beyond difficult to do by machine, so I woud say by hand. Either way, they are fantastic.
