1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Making Fiends! on: August 01, 2005 03:33:30 PM
Actually, the furthest I've gotten with this is cutting out all the pieces and laying them in a neat little pile. My mom every now and again yells at me to do something with all my "crap in the sewing room." Hopefully, you've just given me the kick in the tail I needed to get those things finished. Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah, I put it in with the rest of my fonts. I think I figured out the problem though. One of wo things happened. I got it from a shady place or it didn't work because it was OpenType (or whatever the 'O' font is) instead of TrueType. Now I have TrueType and all is well in the world. I'd been looking for a fancy swirly fon for ages.

UGH! I could cry. I have Office 2000, which doesn't have Parchment. I downloaded it AND IT DOESN'T WORK ON MY COMPUTER!!! I hate this piece of crap.

So where did you get the lettering for the really scrolly 'his' undies? They're the best.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: iBook / Backpack / Boombox / Rabbit on: April 13, 2005 11:11:46 AM
The first thing I thought of was making a purse out of one of those little kid tape players that had the microphone so you could sing along. Oh that would be glorious.

I think we're all going to get married!

I completely agree, we should all get married and have a big crafster love-fest.

I swear, I'll leave my boyfriend for you.
7  ASIA / Japan / Trip to Japan on: December 04, 2004 12:05:01 AM
My boyfriend and I are going to Japan in January, Nagoya to be exact. He's going to be playing cards the whole time, so I'll be left on my own. I need to know of some awesome places to go, things to do, stores to hit, crafting and otherwise, and the like. I'm completely out of my element here. I know nothing about Nagoya at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Underwear Question on: August 20, 2004 10:30:55 AM
Perhaps adding a ruffle or contrasting band would work. I myself just figure that everyone else can put up with my butt crack. I tell myself it's cute and they can get over it. They just don't make pants or underwear correctly as far as I'm concerned.
9  UNITED STATES / Indiana / Re: Hoosiers? on: August 20, 2004 10:04:52 AM
I'm completely up for a corn craft coallition (or some such). I'd haul down to Indy if I had to, one here in Lafayette would be genius, or both would be even better! I'm such a craft slut. School's about to start, we must get together!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: worked it out! here are some pics! on: August 09, 2004 09:23:49 AM
A butt can be very appealing if it looks like that in a pair of jeans... mmm, yeah. You'd definitely have a girlfriend if you moved to the states, just listen to all of us! Anyway, I'm thoguht this for quite a while now, but haven't gotten around to saying it, you're stuff is absolutely amazing. It's all very well done. Now, get a camera and keep inspiring us! (Whether that be to craft or daydream, you can decide yourself...)
