I love the wallet!  That's a great package!  I recieved the other part(!) of my package from Sharc a couple of days ago:  Cookbooks!  One for the kids, along with a nutrition activity book, and one for me!!

Thanks, Sharc!!

All right, Sharc's been pretty busy, so I figured I'd post pics of what I sent her.

Stuff:

Yeah.  So there was a woodburned box, marble magnets, a moose T shirt, a souvenir pin, keychain, and sticker, some blueberry jam, maple syrup, and maple candy, plus a Hannaford dark chocolate bar, a bottle of Poland Spring water, and a small book of facts about Maine, recipes, and famous people.  (Did you know Patrick Dempsey is from Maine?)  lol

I received from sharc today!!  Check out the amazing stuff she sent me:

Here's everything:

Close-up of the bag she made me - which, by the way, kicks so much butt I can't even begin to describe it:

Sweets (Pecan roll, Chocolate dipped key lime coconut cakes - they were delicious  Grin - a couple of bottles of tamarind flavored soft candy, and some guava paste - yum!):

Shell bracelet, dolphin cookie cutter, and seahorse bookmark:

Three hand beaded stitch markers, a small sand dollar (the big one didn't make it  Cry ), A ring made out of shell (I think), and 3 shark's teeth:

A bag of shells from near her home, a postcard with a Pecan pie recipe, and some fabric that I absolutely adore:

And a flamingo Beanie (I collect flamingos) in it's new home on my monitor  Cheesy :

Plus, sharc IM'd me this weekend and said that something she had ordered came in late, so she would send it along anyway.  She absolutely spoiled me!!

Thanks so much, Sharc!!  And thank you, Goatgoddess, for organizing!!  This swap rocked!

PS...The pecan roll is really good, too!  lol

34  A couple of hats in Crochet: Completed Projects by kahluakiggy on: April 26, 2006 01:40:32 PM
OK...last winter I made a couple of hats.  My first, actually.  So please, be gentle...  lol

Meatwad!  Because everyone loves Meatwad...
(inspired by this hat , which is much better than mine.  Grin

This was the first hat I ever made, and you can tell. Embarrassed  Oh, well, live and learn... Cheesy

And my favorite one, of my own design:

Because pink skulls are just plain cute.

Also, these are adult sized hats being modeled by kids, so they don't fit them wonderfully.  But you get the idea.

Well, wait no more!  I braved hell itself (Walmart) with two small kids in tow so that I could finish uploading the pics.  And now, without further ado:

close-up of the marble magnets...notice there are several of Snape *heart flutters*  Grin

Scarf bookmark!

The super-cool Dark Wizard address book, complete with:

DARK WIZARD ADDRESSES!  How cool is that?  You just would not believe how impressed I was with that! Grin

You are now free to envy me.  Go ahead, you know you want to... lol

I got the package from redpopsicles today!!!  Check out the sweet stuff she sent me:

An awesome stencilled Tshirt that fits me perfectly (I'm wearing it now Grin ), 14 marble magnets, a knitted bookmark in Slytherin scarf style, and a Dark wizard address book!!!

And here's the back of the shirt!  The stencilling on this shirt looks amazing, I am so in love with it!! Grin  And the bookmark is already in a book!

I will post close-ups too, but my camera died as I was uploading the pics.  Those were the only ones I managed to get on my computer before the batteries went.  So, off to Wal-mart, and then, more pics!!!  Because you guys have got to see the inside of the address book - it's so cool, I never would have thought of it, but it's such a great idea!  *leaves you in suspense - mwah ha ha!*

Thank you so much, redpopsicles!  I love everything!  I can't wait to show my best friend, she'll be so jealous!

And Sad., thank you so much for organizing!  I'm so glad this was my first swap, it was a great experience!

(Sorry about excessive exclamation points, I'm a bit excited. Grin )

37  Green Day for Preschoolers in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by kahluakiggy on: March 17, 2006 01:02:49 PM
My kids are big Green Day fans, and my younger daughter wanted a shirt.  SO, a shirt.

Front:

Back:

Somehow that line just seemed appropriate. Grin

BTW, she was thrilled when I told her that she was going to be on Craftster!  lol

OK.  I'm more testing what I've learned than showing pics, because, as I said earlier, they suck.  Anywho, here we go (I hope...):
Tom Riddle shirt...

Patches - a few chapter illustrations, Slytherin crest and another Tom...

More later (but not from me - lol).
Yes, I did make more than that!! Grin

ETA: Yay, it worked!  *does her freaky little happy dance* Grin  Woohoo!!!
