I'm excited to find out who my partner is, I can't believe I waited this long to join a swap!

...finally took a pic of my tattoo, yay camera timer, lol
It's all the same artist, the angel was done in 1998, and the sun and moon were added in 2002.

5  shamrock, small bowl and bunny in Crochet: Completed Projects by dotsamantha on: March 18, 2008 09:22:03 AM
Just a few more small things:

http://blog.burdamode.com/bumo/blog/babbelgum61/2008/02/25/bb-proudly-presents-shamrock
I think I used a J hook and vanna yarn.

http://crochetliving.blogspot.com/2007/09/more-fun-than-basketful-of-rainforest.html
Basket or bowl, but here it's function is to hold hot sauce packets. RHSS with an I hook.

The bunny pin - many know it and love it, in various colors of vanna with an I hook. Mine are stringy because I'm weaving the ends and tying bows in the back so my cousins aren't compelled to stab each other with safety pins.
I didn't go for eyes or tails.
Body:
Ch 4, sl st to first sh to form a ring.
Ch 3, 12 dc into ring sl st to top of 3rd chain
HEAD:
Ch3, 3 dc in next dc
EARS:
Ch 10, sl st in first chain
Ch 9, sl st into same chain as before
Finish off and weave in ends. Glue on eye and pompom. Slip safety pin in the back.

6  In Bloom evolved in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by dotsamantha on: March 17, 2008 08:36:00 AM
I started with the in bloom pattern, using vanna and an I hook. I realized it was bigger than I wanted but I still wanted to use it and decided it would become a hook case. I added the insert from Berroco's Kluster pattern: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/kluster/kluster.html also in Vanna, but with an h or g hook. I attached it to the "bag" with the tails and added to bobbles to the edges for closures. It was one of the first things I finished and it definitely isn't pretty, but it's very practical and really not so bad.  Cheesy

7  Some f.o. goodness - mitts, camera case, neckwarmer, angel in Crochet: Completed Projects by dotsamantha on: March 17, 2008 08:26:09 AM
There are more, but I have to take pics.

These have been completed over the past few weeks, but I am a lazy monkey, lol.

fingerless mitts/wristwarmers, from motley cruiser's pattern available on etsy, with Vanna in Linen http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9648135

camera case, no/my pattern, patons merino in grey mix, felted. for my sony dsc-t70 cyber-shot. started with a base chain of 16 hdc. I made 16 across, 1 hdc into the side and continued around with 16 more and another hdc in the side. After joining I made as many rounds as looked right, a little more of course due to the felting, and joining each round. For the flap I gradually decreased on each edge and added a buttonhole a couple rows before I stopped. I edged with crab stitch/rsc. I forgot to measure before felting, it was probably @ 3.5 x 4 without the flap before felting. I lined it with the liner from the box. The button is random from my stash.

This is a mobius neckwarmer made from this pattern with 2 colors of cat's meow, which is sadly discontinued.: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crocheted-mobius-scarf

I also made a little angel for a gift. I used size 3 cotton thread and size e hook:

I'm thinking of doing a yo-yo square, but I saw this one and the construction is completely different. I might try each method.
