1  Digital camera case w/ pile of flesh & pics in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BiscottiTogs on: April 04, 2006 04:55:15 PM
Received a digital camera for my birthday, and since it didn't come with a case, I did what any self-respecting crafty-gal would do, and made one.

Below is the pile of flesh, and pictures of the case.  Use the pile of flesh to cut out one outer fabric (I used heavy denim), and one inner fabric (I reclaimed a little boy's hawaiian shirt).  The photos give you an idea of how to stitch it together.

The pile of flesh

I found it difficult to sew something this small... especially the top stitching around the opening and closure tab.  But I'm really happy with it.

2  Orange and Green Mod Handbag... my first bone posted here... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BiscottiTogs on: December 30, 2005 04:26:21 PM
Why do I feel like I'm about to step onstage in my underwear (and not cool t-shirt underwear like y'all are making, either).

Here is a handbag I made from a pile of flesh posted here, which I've since lost track of (I'm excited about bookmarks!!).  The orange and green upper fabric is from the 60's... really fabulous in its daisy-ness.

If you designed this pile of flesh, would you please leave a comment so I can thank you properly...

Thanks for looking Smiley

3  Re: Secret Santa chainswarm in The Swap Gallery by BiscottiTogs on: December 30, 2005 04:11:44 PM
And now... Gift #3!

A beautiful framed grouping of photos, with the most ghoulish textures.  The thing is... I happen to collect black and white photos... all framed in black frames.  This will fit in perfectly!

A close up of the textures.  The blurriness is my photo, not Santa's.

And can you believe she even found wrapping paper that looked like knitting?!!  LOL!  Santa, I really appreciate all the effort you put into making this such a great gift!!  Thank you!!!

I'm all gifted up now Smiley  Gifts #2 and #3 arrived on the same day... a banner day at the bunker for sure!!  I'll post each gift separately, so I can gush appropriately.

Gift #2:

A cool little book of bound paper airplane designs Smiley

Inside:

Please ignore the strange looking fingers.

I am going to have so much fun with these... work is going to get a whole lot more interesting Smiley
Thank you so much, Santa!
Oh... my boss thanks you too, I'm sure... hehehe.
