I finished some purses that are being raffled off a door prizes at a local country club.  They are going to be the centerpieces at the table.  Now maybe I can actually make something for my Etsy shop!  Wink

33  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Squidy on: February 07, 2006 08:08:22 PM
I made this bag for Pollyfusia (www.pollyfusia.etsy.com) for making the stunning banner at my Etsy store.

The lining is a little blurry, it's this cool retro fabric with cool black cats sitting on modern chairs.

35  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Blue Suede MEssanger Bag on: January 16, 2006 07:32:48 PM
Okay I tried posting this before, but nothing showed up.  Let's try again!

I made this bag as a cutom order for a friend's wife.  It's made from powder blue microsuede with floral lining.

It has external and internal pockets and I think it's quite faboo!

Thanks.

37  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Velvet pants on: January 08, 2006 06:52:34 PM
Had some fun with a pair of velvet pants I found a the Goodwill.  Grin

My dad drilled a hole in the handles and I sewed the button through the holes so the fabric wouldn't slip off the handles.

39  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Patchwork purse on: January 02, 2006 04:43:28 PM
My mom bought me this gorgeous fabric so i made her a bag out of it for Christmas.

I moved the pattern around to get the best pieces, I thought it turned out pretty well.  Pics of the inside didn't come out so well, but I lined it in burgundy tafetta from a bridesmaid's dress I bought at Goodwill.
40  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Gold Clutch on: December 26, 2005 06:49:35 PM
I just finished this clutch as a custom order for a birthday present.  She said she wanted something small, glitzy, and gold.  I found a great pack of gold brocade fat quarters on sale at JoAnn's.  I used the Kwik Sew pattern, it's line with a sort of embossed pink heavy polyester.

The woman I made it for is giving it to her 16 year old neice, I hope she likes it.  I certainly do.
