Hey all!  it's great to see so many Cincy crafters!  It's always nice to have others to share my obessesions with!  Has anyone checked out the Fabric Shack in Waynesville??  It's FABULOUS!  http://www.fabricshack.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi?menu=submenu-2000.html

I started making placemat purses about a year ago and graduated up to using patterns to make all kinds of really cool bags.  I"ve been selling (or trying to sell ) them at local craft shows and art fairs.  I started knitting about two years ago too.  I"m always on the lookout for like-minded crafsters.

Hey, I just signed up for this site and found your thread.  I live in Cincy and make purses, I would certainly be interested in a craft show.  did it already happen, and if so when is the next one?

I found this pattern to make really cute little purses out of old sweaters.  I bought a bunch of sweaters at a rummage sale and have been having a lot of fun.

1855  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: what type of yarn do i need for felting? on: October 22, 2005 06:16:29 PM
I have found that Lamb's Pride Bulky works great for felting.  I made a large tote bag and a small envelope bag out of this yarn.
