53  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Van Gogh converse on: January 29, 2006 01:44:00 PM
i found this pair of real converse at the thrift store for 4$ and they were almost my size and perfect  Cheesy except they were ugly greeen bay colors. Sad  I painted the outsides white and the insides black. Then i drew van gogh designs on all sides. It was kind of inspired by the starry night shoes-i don't know who did those. The tongue was yellow and i got tired of it later so i painted it green. Let me know what yall think!! Grin

I just got a sewing machine for my birthday and i have been sewing for a while but avoiding actual garments, so this is my first skirt. the material was a pack of remnants from joanns that all had various celtic knot patterns. i had no pattern so making the waistband was kind of hard and the zipper is kind of screwed up but the hem is even so its pretty good i think.  :)let me know what you think of it. Grin Cheesy Wink
