I'm a dork, I made my kitty a hoodie for winter. 
She doesn't seem to hate it too much. I'm not one for dressing up pets but i couldn't resist and was stuck inside during cold rainy weather. Makes her even more snuggly than she already is!

Not sure if I will use it, I usually cart my giant multipocketed messenger bag everywhere. I thinks it's pretty cute though! The black and white strap is awesome embroidered houndstooth ribbon. The strap is removeable too.

Here's my new patio table. now its ruined, the top is chip board like stuff so it swelled and split in the rain, now i have a really ugly table
***use real wood or put proper trim and seal it really well if you do anything like this that will be exposed to the weather!***
now I'm sad oh well, i'll know for next time, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa *runs off to cry some more*

I got all the materials for free including the table! I just had to buy some black grout.
The trim is strips of vinyl held on with upholstery nails.
Mosaicing (is that a word?) is so fun and I'm so happy with it! It was pretty easy too.

A Gaudi mosaic would be very cool for a table.
I'm not sure exactly what the sealer is but i think it just makes the grout water proof and last longer. I haven't actually bought any yet, it still has a few more to cure. But for now i have a plastic table cloth to throw over it when it rains.

Here's the one I made, the trim is just vynil strips with upholstery tacks (we'll see how long it lasts)

This is what my backyard looked like last year when we bought our place. The shed was falling down and was super ugly and wasting space in the already small backyard.
We needed a nice shady place to sit in the summer.

This is what we came up with.   found some fallen trees down the road. It's far from perfect but we love it and hey, it was free. It looks even better now,  cleaned up behind and to the side with less greenery to the left side so there is even more room for more chairs and we plan on building a small fire pit this year.

I had this shiny asian print fabric forever, I wasn't sure what to make with it. Planning a road trip next month so I made a nice big bag to stuff everything into, it holds tons of stuff!

I finally made a duct tape dress form/tool holder (see my hammer?). It's so much easier making things for myself now! I didn't have any patterns so I just winged it.
I always need new shirts so this is what I came up with.
Hand painted llamma, cuz their funny.

A funky super stretchy comfy paisleyish one

I just love the colour of this one, it feels almost like terry cloth, not sure what its called.

So this is the before. This is the first time I painted with just some leftover purple and white paint when we first bought our home.  The ENTIRE room was bright yellow before this, ick!
So I finally decided what to get rid of the hideous cabinet and redecorate.


This is after. I think it goes better with the lovely harvest gold sink, toilet and tub. It really opens the space up too

new green paint and mirror, and since there was no cabinet storage and the rest of the wall was empty I put up some od shelf brackets I painted brown and put a peice of wood to display another mirror, some  bottles and insense and stuff

I made a skeleton for my window! He really rattles when the wind blows!


The individual bones are just cut out of scrap wood panneling and painted then joined by loops of heavy wire.
