1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Coaters, scarf or blanket . . . depends on my attention span on: February 11, 2011 03:58:21 PM
Got this pattern from Lion Brand yarn's web site.  Very easy to do.  Not sure what I am going to use these for.  My goal is to make enough for an lap blanket.  We will see.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Made for my aunt for Christmas on: February 13, 2010 10:49:51 AM

Made this purse for my aunt for Christmas.  Actually finished it a few days after Christmas, but she didn't mind.  All the fabric is from my local Joanns and the pattern is from www.bellanonnaquilt.com
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bag I made for my mom on: February 25, 2008 08:38:36 PM
She picked the pattern and fabric and I made the bag.  It is Simplicity 5606 (I think that is the number).  I added a pocket and left off a ribbon thing on the front, but other than those changes, I pretty much followed the pattern.  The lining fabric is the same as the pocket.  I made myself one in greens and oranges but haven't taken a pic yet.

I want to get one of those fabric water bowls for when my dog Molly and I go for walks, but they are kind of expensive.  Does anyone have an easy pattern they are willing to share? Huh

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / fixing a zipper on: April 30, 2004 10:35:09 PM
I have a reversable jacket with a broken zipper.  Can anyone suggest a book or web site with instructions on how to fix it?  Huh  The more pictures the better.  It's been a long time since I have sewed anything.
