How about a database where one can entera City and State to find other locals to form an art/craft circle?

You could try the web site.. www.meetup.com to see if there is a knitting group.. also if there isn't one  you could start one on that site. Happy knitting!

Hi,
I love this idea with the pebble bracelets.. I made something similar using pebble charms but soldered a ring to them. The pictures are not so great as there is a shine to them but they can be seen under the jewelry catagory. My loving boyfriend helped me upload them to my blog.
they can be seen along with other crafty stuff at http://scientificexplorergirl.blogspot.com. Tambourine

You could also use a heat source like those long handled things that light candles. if you ignite it near but not on the surface of the resin the bubbles should pop. Grin

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / starting a craft circle in Brookline,Ma on: November 06, 2005 07:53:11 AM
hi,
I am looking to get a small crafting circle with like minded people sometime after the holidays.
I dont have  alot of furniture but I have wonderful floorspace( complete with tarps) in a rather large living room.
I have experimented with jewelry, clay, doll making from clay and fabric no sewing involved, hand quilting yo-yo quilts, collage, assemblage arts, resin jewelry, ornaments, and recycled art to name a few!
I am located conviently right across the street from the  C train on the green line and a few blocks from the Paper Source  ...ahem..
I work both days and nights and some weekends so my hours are somewhat flexible if we can find a good time for a circle.Perhaps those interested could post what hours might work for them and I am open to suggestions on how often we could meet.look forward to finding my "people " in the Brookline area! Tambourine
