1  Re: Scrapbook Cookbook Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by kbbtfg on: April 30, 2008 01:13:10 PM
I received from Dichotomy on Saturday, but due to computer issues wasn't able to post pictures. My package was very nice.

It included a cookbook and local magazine - both with some yummy sounding recipes.

The cookbook she made was awesome. I even got real pictures of the dishes... so I know she tried them out and liked them!

I got some tea and the coolest plastic bag holder ever. I'm impressed. If you can't tell, it has the symbols for woman, eternity, and strength.

A long string of yummy gums in various fruity flavors. These little packages are great because they rip off. I've been throwing them in my pocket before work the last couple days.

And, also included was a little bag of greenies cat snacks which the cats attempted to devour. I eventually had to take the bag away so they would leave me alone. Here is what was supposed to be a picture of the cats eating the snacks... but the snacks were gone before the flash even went off.

Thanks so much dichotomy, I love everything. I wish my package had made it to you.  Cry Hopefully the person that has it enjoys it...  Undecided

I'm really hoping that ________ received from me today and likes the things that I sent but I'm biting my nails lol

I received from GothChics yesterday, but didn't have a chance to post... sorry. My package was AMAZING. I loved it. I got the most wonderful bag in the whole world. I'm not exaggerating, either. It is the nicest thing I have ever received in a swap. I'm not exactly sure how she parted with it, honestly. It has a Fiona Apple pic that she manipulated and added lyrics to. It is a gorgeous dark brown with various shades of blue in stripes and dots. I squealed when I saw it!

I also received three little monster plushies. My cats are very interested, but I'm keeping them for myself.

I also got wonderful Family Guy Evil Monkey magnets. I do have a weakness for monkey magnets, so that was perfect as well.

Lastly, I got a cute robot tin candle. It is cherry vanilla scent and smells so nice. My camera couldn't focus on it well. It is a small, round tin that GothChics decorated with handpainted robots. Too cute!

I love everything. I was surely spoiled.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, GOTHCHICS. You really put in a lot of effort and made me wonderful stuff. That bag will not leave my side, ever!

3  Stuffed felt robot in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kbbtfg on: January 20, 2008 03:27:30 PM
I finished this guy tonight. He's been a WIP for quite awhile. His legs came out a little shorter than I like, but once he's sitting he looks okay. He's made with felt and embroidery thread. His head, arms and legs are attached with snaps so that they can be rearranged. He flops a bit, but isn't really made to be functional, just cute.

4  Re: The Amazing Hoodie Swap R6 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by kbbtfg on: January 19, 2008 01:22:22 PM
I received today. My hoodie is awesome... comfortable, warm, cute, and so well made. I absolutely love it.

On the front of the hoodie is a dog

On the right side, right under the armpit area, you can see a robot hand holding a bone... and here it is!

On the back, you see the rest of Mr. Robot. He is amazingly adorable.

I love this hoodie. I just took it off because I am going to go eat Doritos and I didn't want it to get dirty. I love it that much!

5  Embroidered squid in Needlework: Completed Projects by kbbtfg on: December 17, 2007 12:56:20 PM
I posted this in the bag/purse thread, but because it's a bag made solely as a place to put this squid, I thought it was more about the embroidery and less about the bag. So, I'm posting it here too.

I embroidered this squid from a picture at http://science.howstuffworks.com/squid1.htm

It needed something more than a tea towel for it's final home.

Thanks for looking

6  Squid bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kbbtfg on: December 15, 2007 02:34:56 PM
I embroidered a beautiful squid and had no idea what to do with it. So, it became this bag. I've only made one bag before, so the skill isn't there, but I like the way it turned out. It was a little wide, so I pinched in the sides with embroidery floss.

Close up of squid:

7  Re: Holiday Cookie/Candy/Recipe Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by kbbtfg on: December 11, 2007 01:22:01 PM
I received from chipofftheoldblock today. She is an overachiever, but I'm not complaining. I took pictures right away so I could dig in! It all looks so good.

I'll post recipes next.

8  Re: Once You Pop Round 5 - Holiday Edition GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by kbbtfg on: November 13, 2007 01:07:29 PM
I received from brianaknits today. It was so much fun to find something beside bills and credit card offers in the mail. I received a beautifully decorated snowman container which included a great blue scarf, a Christmas potholder, Christmas ornaments, a necklace that looks like Christmas lights, a great stuffed robot guy and some dinosaur stickers. I love it all. My camera isn't home today so you'll have to suffice with some stinky camera phone pictures. Thank you so much, Briana!

10  Centerpieces for a fall wedding in Weddings and Bridal Showers by kbbtfg on: October 14, 2007 07:36:39 PM
Here are pictures of the centerpieces I made for my sister's wedding. Granted, it was awhile ago.. but I just found the photos. They are glasses filled with birdseed and containing pussywillow branches, pheasant feathers and horsetails.
