My poor husband is afraid of the traditional sock monkeys, he's creeped out by the vacant eyes and oversize red mouth. So, in the spirit of Halloween I decided to make a sock monkey costume to star in his nightmares for some time to come.

I used a brown sweatsuit, 1 off white sweatshirt, 1 brown henley shirt,  some scrap foam pieces, and vintage yarn. I spent about $15.00 total and made it in about 5 hours.
