Oh my gosh! You are so talented! Love these! Can I ask why type of dye or colouring  you used in the hard candy? They are just too cute!

I have been crocheting for a few years now, i was doing mostly beanies and baby things and blankets but moved into Amigurumi in the past year and have so many ideas of my own id love to make. But dont really know where to begin with making an amigurumi pattern.

When did you feel like you were at the level to design your own? Should i just keep using patterns and practicing until im ready to do them myself? I probably need a good handle on all stitches and understand what each one does in a pattern before i can start designing my own. Im getting pretty good now and make ami's pretty well. (i could be better of course).

I would love to know when you started writing your own and your experiences and tips.

Cant wait to hear the experiences of other ami lovers!

I made some bath bombs this afternoon, all was going well spritzed and put in mold and waited bout 20 mins and well it just wouldnt come out, i had to scrape it out with the end of a spoon. What on earth happened lol? Did i get spritz happy? Its not fizzing or anything so im not sure if i did. Apart from the fact it stuck in the mold, it is really great consistancy is really good. Do i need to do something to the mold first?

I have searched high and low for a non greasy whipped sugar scrub. I did find one on line and it whipped up wonderful but as it was mostly coconut oil its just way too greasy.
Does anyone know of a whipped sugar scrub recipe that is less greasy? Would adding corn starch to this help a bit or would that ruin the whole whipped appearance?

I have been searching for a baby vest pattern with buttons at the front (not the pull over kind) They only way to explain what im after I guess is like a vest a man wears to a wedding. Im sure it cant be that hard to make a simple baby vest. I have been making my son pants from recycled cloths and thought it would be perfect to add a little vest. Or if anyone would know how to make one? I would be soooooo greatful!!

Aww thanks I havent been crochetting very long. (Hence the botched scarf haha).

I forgot to explain why its not right, when i did the trebles the instructions were hard to read and i thought i had to yo twice, then pull thru 1 loop then yo and 2 and so forth... silly. I didnt even realise until i was coming up to the end of the second side... ahhh! Lol oh well, I will NEVER forget how to do a treble st again haha.

Here is my botched treble scarf. haha it turned out ok. But they are a bit bulky, i wanted a more tidy tight shell. Ahh well. Finished this morning. Haha happy to be done with it to be honest.
