My bf and I have been together 1 year on the 21..

For my 21 bday he was so awesome.. Took me to universal studios, and then surprised me with dinner @ medieval times and had them shout me out and knight me and all that good stuff.. For his bday we were kinda in a rough patch so nothig happened.. so for our 1 year i wanna do something extra nice for him! BUT i duno what?!

I think he is planing something for me cuz i know him and thats what he does.. I just have no clue what to do for him. I was gonna buy him house on dvd but since we got a dvr, he records every episode and they are giving reruns.. so now im stuck... someone give me ideas!!

oh btw.. I live with him but I can work outside of home in my grandmas house if I need to be crafty.. thanks!

So for my final exam in Art our teacher wanted us to make a something that was art..AND edible. I knew most people would go for the cakes and cookies (and I was right) but I didnt want to do that. Really I just wasnt up for baking lol! I had recently been given a nice little "just because" gift of all pink starbursts and it inspired me to make art! So I went to Target and bought 6 bags of starbursts, found a pattern and re-drew it on graph paper and got to work. In no time at all this is what I got =) Everyone loved it by the way and I passed my final lol!



And I had soooo much left over that this is what I made...


TETRIS!!

The tetris was a hit because I didnt want anyone taking apart mario so if they wanted candy, they got a tetris block. They loved it and they loved the fact that the blocks fit together and they could actually play the game lol!

My dude is funny!!! He likes family guy and stupid humor like that.. the most random things make us laugh and we can add onto it and laugh forever about basically nothing..


we have a crazy story that is still in process at the moment bout how we got together..like something out of a movie.. too long to explain but its simply amazing =)

Anyways I remembered last year coming on here and getting an idea for a "Checkin you out" card that has that little card that they put in books at the library and stamping dates of when I was actually checking him out.. I LOVE it.. Only I wouldnt know where to find the card to do that..

Any other suggestions for things maybe along the lines of those really corny pickup lines would be welcome! I dont really wanna do the mushy thing.. The funny thing works and becomes the mushy thing lol!

ALSO.. we joke around alot about "Brain Ninja's" like from Dane Cook's stand up comedy thing where he said women are brain ninjas cuz they know just how to get into a guys head n blah blah blah.. Dane Cook was going along the lines of women being able to hurt a guys feelings with her ninja skills.. us though, we use our skills differently... our ninja skills = grown up business lol!
Soooo I was trying to think of any ninja type things I can do/make for him to crack him up but havent gotten much...

Any and all ideas are welcome!! and this thread can stay open to anyone who wants/has any funny ideas for their goofy/crazy/silly lovers!!

So the guy and I arent together.. yet anyway.. But I wanna do something for him for vday.. We both know we like eachother and we have lots of fun together..

We call him flan as an inside joke.. lol.. dont ask.. I dont even know how it happened..

But anyways everyone loves flan right?

I was trying to think of the many reasons flan is so great.. and do something with that..

and/or.. he isnt exactly very tall.. and we pick on him because of it lol.. I was thinking something like fun sized candy or "Shorty is a 10" haha

I dont know help me out here.. It has to be funny... not too mushy.. I think the fact that it will be funny and still from the heart will make it mushy ya know?

oh and his bday is soon and I was thinking of making him a flan for his bday.. unless you guys can help out with other ideas and I can make a heart shaped one for vday lol!

Ok so by the time v-day comes Me and My bf will be going out for little over a month. He knows im weird and love stupid things.. I wouldnt wanna just go BUY him a generic "I love you" card because I dont LOVE him.. I need ideas on what I can put in a card.. like for example, somones idea for her bf was to give him cookies but one was gonna be a donkey and the attatched card is gonna say "Dont be an ass" and inside itll say "Be my valentine!" THATS cute AND funny! I love it!! More ideas like that would be greatly appreciated!! I dunno if it helps or not but he is my 1st bf so he was my first kiss and everything else.. and he is pretty much addicted to kissing! ((Hersheys kisses will be added to his gift))

This is Kinkie.. One night I had a burst of crafty inspiration (As im sure most of you get alot lol!) and I decided to try my luck at sewing.. Let me tell you. Before Kinkie, I have never sewed a succesful stitch in my life!

Thats why he is so special to me.

And last but not least... I saw the topic about the snowglobes. The one thats a robot with 40's and panties made out of shrinky dinks.. So I ended up ordering a 50 pack of shrinky dinks from the site lol! Well because many of my friends wanted to know how shrinkydinks worked, i filmed the shrinking of the cartoon above. I slapped some music and titles to it and ended up with this.....

  hi! Ive been lurking around and posting a few replies here and there but this is my first topic that I started.

Ok so, im in high school and for American History the teacher made us break into groups to research the decade we were assigned. The groups will each get a 45 minute class period to decorate and present to the class in any fun creative way we can. We'll get to use one of the empty class rooms to set up and the teacher said that she wants to feel like she is walking into that decade...

Well my group called the 1980's from the momen she mentioned the project so thats the one we have to present. Now my teacher LOVES creativity! The more the better so i was wondering if anyone has any  ideas on things my group and i can do to make our presentation the best she has ever seen!? lol!

Any fun yet cheap or easy to make decorations we can do? or 80's clothing tutorials (aka leg warmers!!! as well as stuff for the guys?)

or any REALLLLLYY easy/quick things we can give to the students to make with instructions...ok thats confusing.. I mean like for example giving every student a sock and buttons and showing them to make a sock puppet for example. Only we wont be making sock puppets, we would make something that represents the 1980's. (no sewing please.. Needles=weapons at my school)

So any ideas??

Oh and just some random info that may or may not help... My group consists of 4 people, 2 boys and 2 girls. And there are 22 people in my class total. Maybe that can make a difference.... .
