1  Rock On Stencil T-Shirt in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by Moonbeam1212 on: December 08, 2005 07:59:12 AM
Hi.  This is my first official posting of a project other than a craft challenge--its also my very first stenciling project.  A little background info:  My uncle is a wanna be rock star, he has a few bands that he plays drums in, and he goes by the name of Bad Ronald (yes this is a grown man of 42 who acts like a 22 year old hee hee).

Here's my shirt I made him.  It was supposed to be for Christmas, but I got so excited about it I had to give it to him early.  He went nuts!

The shirt:

Close up of the detail: (here you can see my messiness! eek)

I found a font called "rockstar" on the web and the stencil was based largely on one of the pictures in the font.  I had wrote the "Bad Ronald" and "Rock Star"  I printed it on normal paper becuase i had no card stock.  I put the paper and a piece of heavier paper that was part of a piece of junk mail together and put clear contact paper over both sides to laminate them and cut the stencil out.

Hope you like!

2  Ribbon Holder in CHALLENGE 8 ENTRIES by Moonbeam1212 on: December 08, 2005 07:38:48 AM

OK... this cost all of $0.73 for the wooden dowel that I cut in half.  If you add the bobins I used to attach to the ends that I already had plus the green cord that holds it all together I think you might come up with about $2.00.  It might not be the cutest craft, but I had drawers of tangled ribbon and tangled stitch witch.  Now I have a ribbon holder and a dispenser. Yay!

Thanks for looking =)  <3 all your crafts that were submitted so far! You guys RAWK!

Oh, btw i have a bf who decided that crafts in the house are messy.  Thats why this is in the breezeway between the house and the garage.  Its where i must sprayglue/do anything deemed "messy".  LOL He's a geek and a neat freak, but I love him... whats a messy crafter to do?!

3  Craft Organizer-LotsaPockets in CHALLENGE 7 ENTRIES by Moonbeam1212 on: November 08, 2005 07:46:48 PM
Hi all.  I made this out of a pair of old jeans and one of those cute mark down dresses that you think you will wear but in actuality sits in your closet forever... ok.. so this is my first craftster project.  The idea isnt new tho. My aunt made a locker organizer much like the other organizers that have been listed here for my mom who works in a hospital where she has to shower a few times a day going into/out of restricted areas  so it holds her brushes etc inside the door of the locker.

Anyway i started this by hand.  My wonderful boyfriend bought me a sewing machine mid way through the project so this was my "learn how the sewing machine works and DOESN't work project"  When the organizer is full it kinda bulges in spots.  I condeed it wasnt perfect but it was my first attemp at something like this =)

Ok heres the picture of the organizer.. its designed to hang from the front of my craft 5 drawer plastic cart but the pic is of it hanging from a drawer in the kitchen where there was better light.  I plan on using this when i start a project so i can have most of my tools for that proiject together and within reach.  I also have a love of those gel sparkly pens so for now this is what it looks like..

heres a close up on the detailing

thanks for looking =)

oh btw this is the third life for these jeans.  They were my moms from highschool.. i cut them to shorts like 10 years ago.. and well they now live on...

-Jenn

ps look forward to crafting again with you crafty folks.. you give me inspiration!!
