3681  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: 50 Wash Cloths-along (now with MORE patterns!) on: August 01, 2007 02:48:34 PM
I received my awesome Sugar 'n Creme cotton in Landscapes yesterday from the AWESOME GIZMONIC!! I am so excited to knit up a dishcloth with it! I've been giving away all of the cloths I've made so far, but I am definitely keeping this one for myself. It reminds me of ice cream!

Thanks again, Gizmonic! You rock! \m/ Cheesy

Just ran across this link where the gal used Landscapes for a bigger project:

I rec'd my 1st pkg from Joanna a few days ago & am thrilled with it!
She is such an accomplished crocheter...you would never guess she is just a teenager!
First of all, she used a marker to decorate the outside of the Priority Box....just made me laugh!  heehee
She made me a beautiful lacy pink scarf which will be just perfect this fall when the cool winds start to blow.
She asked some great questions in our orig. PMs and used my answers to create several bookmarks for me!  Love them!
Then she really went all out & crocheted this darling watermelon drawstring bag AND a watermelon pouch!
She says she is sending some more goodies, so I will really be spoiled when this swap is finished  Smiley
A thousand thanks, Joa!!!

did you tell Javastain that you are done crafting? You can send packages to people that are green even if you are not green yet. If you haven't sent a PM to Java yet send her one telling her that you are done crafting and ready to be green and she will change you on the front page.

Just checking to make sure I am understanding correctly....I can send out 1 or 2 pkgs that are ready to go before I'm completed finished with all of my cloths, correct?

Another question...how much do the cones of Peaches/Sugar 'n Creme usually cost you ladies? I've seen them at Wal-Mart for $5-6, but they only have them in Ecru and 1 varigeated (I can't spell that stupid word haha) color.

Here's the URL for the mill where they make the PnC yarn in NC....
http://www.elmore-pisgah.com/store-pc.htm
the color selection is great, and the cones are pretty cheap, but you do have to factor in shipping....
I just love being able to choose from ANY color I want!
I usually spend WAY too much when I shop on that site  Smiley
