12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Givers & Needers Swap? Is it time for another one? on: September 19, 2016 10:50:56 AM
Is there any estimated dates for this swap?

I am back home after a trip to South America, so once I get back on an even keel,
I could open this (am thinking next week?)
with signups for a week & sendouts mid-October?

Willing to change those dates if they don't work well~

Just getting back home from a BIG trip,
so hope to conquer jet lag in the next couple of days & get a shop open
(pending approval, of course  Smiley

Is anyone looking for baby hats?  I may try to knit up a few during the evenings watching TV.

Oh, and I have this adult hat that just needs to be finished off & could make more if there
is interest.....(light gray washable wool)

I won't be able to host this swap until late in September, so if
anyone is interested in taking the reins before then, please do!!

I hope it goes on the back burner as I am committed to a big swap right now and in a few weeks I start working 12 to 14 hour days for awhile.  Fall would be much better for me as well.

hey, sweet friend!
(and founding member of this swap!!!!)
Glad you are still around these parts  Smiley

Sept will be super busy for me, so we'll push it into October, for sure!

yay! more craftsters! welcome flymom:)

me and another craftster (bec99) have started playing 'mail tag' http://www.mailtag.com.au/p/blog-page.html . It looks so fun. I've just sent out her letter and can't wait to see what she sends back. I'll think I will keep this in mind when we get partners for this swap...maybe they will want to play too!

how interesting!  never heard of that site -- thx for sharing the link!

I'll have to see how the timing works out for this, as my dtr will be swimming in the Paralympics
during Sept!   Grin

My hubby is supposed to be making me a new, easier to use weaving loom than my children's starter loom for my birthday this month, so I'll hopefully have some items ready to go for the swap by September. Otherwise, I have some monster art, monster notebooks and encaustic art that I have scheduled to create. Now I just need to get to work!

monster notebooks!!!!
19  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Possible ongoing felt badge swap? on: July 30, 2016 03:53:04 PM
I'm totally into an ongoing badge swap. How far back were the ongoing TM patch swaps? I couldn't find it. I was going to take a look to see what parameters they used. I think badges are small enough that we could almost treat them like ATMs. Well, most of them are.  Grin

Found this ongoing TM patch swap.
Looks like they required tracking #s.

This could be fun!
I took a zentangle workshop this spring, so could try to use some of those ideas...
I could participate if send outs were before the first of September, but go w what's best for the bulk of the swappers!
