I present to you my first quilt. I took inspiration from a quilt I have found here, called the lavender quilt if I remember correctly. It is machine quilted even though I now wished I would have gone the hand quilted way. Quilting such a big piece on a home machine, even with a walking foot, is pretty hard. I made a little tag on the back out of remenant linen I had lying around. Here are the pictures:

note: I had to cut down a 50 cm zipper to size because I could not find the required length in an invisible zipper
Pattern was very easy and fast, even though a little bit big in the chest and small in the hip area
I will definetaly make more.

Hi there, I think your pictures are lovely. Learning to use a camera is a ot of fun. If I could give you a tip I would try to pay attention to your white balance. If you look at the first 3 pictures they are kind of yellowish, that is usually due to incandescent or florescent lighting (aka artificial). Most cameras have setting were they will compensate for this yellow tint. I would also suggest a photo editing software (like photoshop or gimp wich is a free alternative <-- the one I use).
I made an exemple of what could be done (this was done in about 2 minutes), I just did a slight ajustement on your white balance

I just finished mine. It's a PoA Griffindor scarf knitted with some 100% wool I found at my lys. I used the atypically pattern except that I have 11 repeats instead of 14 because I ran out of yarn.

I just finished mine. It's black with pink polka dots!! I followed (for the first time of my life) the instructions and didn't run in any problems. Pictures!!

This is a jacket I sewed for my little sister for her birthday. It's from a burda pattern, no 8184. It's all in medium weight denim.

Alright I made this bag in about 2 hours from fabric scrap. I have to admit it a complete rip off from this.

I just finished my toledo from rowan 37. It took me about a month to finish. It's done in All season Cotton in Cookie and instead of woving in some yarn I wove in some silk I had lying around. I'ts a little big in the back and the cut isn't all that flattering but I still like it.
