1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Fall Cable Free Rebecca Sweater KAL on: September 17, 2005 01:18:21 PM
Is anybody interested in a knit along for this? The directions strike me as a bit confusing, but I still want to have a go at it.

It's the cream cabled sweater with snowflakes shown here: http://www.rebecca-online.de/cont_en/anleitungen_02.php
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Need a graphic on: July 04, 2005 09:54:15 AM
I found this really awesome cardigan on sale on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5403859038&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I want to try to recreate it with intarsia, but can't find a good broken heart anywhere. I'd use the one from the ebay picture, but it's not straight on, so it would be wonky. Anyone have a good broken heart, or any other ideas?  The Cross bones seem like they'd be easy enough.

I want to try my hand at making some hemp jewelry. Does anyone know of some good sites, either instructional or supply wise? Would also appreciate beginner tips, and some book suggestions too. thanks!

Did this just so I could use DPNs. I used the pattern in The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns, and the yarn is just Lion Brand Wool-Ease. If anyone has any tips on using dpn's, esp when turning to go to the next needle, I'd appreciate it.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Spring Scarf using Twister on: March 09, 2004 07:43:52 PM
I just made a new scarf using Patons Twister. I am in love with the yarn. Only complaint is the chenille part of it sometimes feels really scratchy in my left hand, which I use to knit (continental knitter here  Smiley )
