I love the red one too! It's a great color combo, great shape & size, all with lace from the stash. Well done.

These are great! The hair on Wash is just right. Thanks for sharing your patterns and design sources.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Firefly - Jayne's Hat stitching on: January 22, 2010 07:47:21 PM
I had forgotten about that particular Jayne quote. The border & hat capture it perfectly.

Thanks for sharing the chart with us. Very shiny indeed.

Way more awesome than the cardboard ones. What a great way to craft for your guy!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Scraptastic scarf on: January 09, 2010 02:48:27 PM
That's a great idea for scraps you really don't want to throw out! I might have to try making one that's a little thinner for the southern "winter".

The colors make me smile  Smiley

7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Blue Diamonds on: January 08, 2010 04:12:51 PM
I finished this quilt for my husband about 6 months after I started. This is the largest quilt I've tried so far. DH requested something blue and warm. He's been using it whenever he watches TV so I call it a success!

Whole thing:

The border is my favorite fabric in the quilt:

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Seahorse Vintage hanky on: April 20, 2009 05:21:18 PM
I like how detailed it is, especially the tail. Good color choice!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Firefly Cross Stitch. on: March 02, 2009 07:00:06 PM
I love it! I might have to watch the series again - while working on a cross-stitch project.... Grin

Thanks for sharing the pattern, I think it came out great.
