1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Breathing life back into a vintage Fiatelli sewing machine - *Finished Project* on: August 02, 2013 10:04:44 AM
Holey Moley I'm very impressed by your story. I'd love to hear how you learned to take a machine apart and back together.  I have an old Kenmore machine that needs a new motor because the older one very frayed.

Job well done.  I'm very glad to hear a zig zag can be placed on a treadle.   Job well done.

5  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Forget Round Table Pizza!! Thanks Guy Fieri!! on: December 11, 2010 05:18:03 AM
I LOVE PIZZA!!!
Your pizza looks very , very tasty.  I make my own at home and the kids really like to help with the toppings .  My hubby likes the taste and not having to go out in the cold to get the pizza too.

I make my own dough but it's still in the testing out stage as I have yet to find something I like.  I do make my own sauce so my questions are ...................
Those pans you used from the dollar tree...are they cake pans?
Does the aluminum on the bottom of the oven help  much with clean up.  Is that a cookie sheet wrapped in the aluminum?

Thanks   Grin

Whenever my husband asks me what I did today  I always tell him , "Trying to take over the world."  Grin

What a happy snail.   Grin  I too miss my sewing machine when I'm away from it(don't tell my children and husband) so I've begun embroidery and cross stitch.

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Ben 10 watch on: August 01, 2010 03:47:06 AM
My six year old son is very into Ben10(or whatever they are calling it to make more money on toys Grin)

That's awesome!  My son would love that.

And can I say , " how cute is that nephew of yours! "Kiss

I think it's sweet that they save the episodes so you can watch together.  A memory your nephew will have for his entire life. Cheesy

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Faux Painting around a toilet is tricky - but worth it :) on: July 21, 2010 05:16:56 AM
I love the bathroom completely. And I'm not a mirror person but I really loved the idea.  I think the mirrors open up the room.

You must tell me how you folded those washcloths that are on the sink.  They remind me of roses.
