I made 30 and a few extra of these tissue holders, with the tag, "to dry your tears of joy" I think they are so sweet and can't wait to give them out at a friend's wedding shower. Wedding Tissue Holder by Nest Handmade, on Flickr
Hooray! Hooray! I recieved from Teamwang today, all the way from EEEeengland! So much fun Shel Silverstein stuff! I got 1. a box decoupaged with illustrations and poem "loser" with the greatest fuzziest sticker thing! Where did you find that? 2. poetry magnets with words from "one inch tall" 3. shel magnets- so cute! 3. A NEEDLE- FELTED MISSING PIECE PILLOW! And yes, I am meaning to "yell!"The first thing out of my mouth was.. "Oh, my God!" Thanks teamwang! I love it all!
oh,heather_delong, please forgive me! I recieved your package right before I went out of town, then there is coming home and getting back to life... I love all of my wonderful things! She was so generous. I recieved several bookmarks, stickers with quotes that are librarian/book related, an orange reading log (forgot to take a pic), a felted purse and coin purse from a thrifted "librarian" sweater, a big tote to hold reference books (or a small child-heather's words!) and another tote/messenger bag that both have iron-on transfers that say "Read Responsibly" - looove them! Thanks heather_delong!
Moonshire, my most wonderful swap partner rocks! I must say that my photos do not do these justice. The stitching and attention to detail is amazing. The autographed photo of Fozzie is priceless! You must know the right people. I loved every minute of this swap and if there is another, I'm sure to join again. Thanks Anna-Begins for putting it together.
I was inspired to make this tote to carry around all my "mom" supplies or craft stuff. It can be set down, swung around, put in the wash, etc. It has exterior pockets to stash a sippy cup or sunglasses and an interior pocket for keys. The fabric is from Heather Ross's Munki Munki line from Free Spirit.
be prepared for the most incredible felted goodies! I recieved a wet felted pouch, a wet felted morning glory flower hanging art sculpture, a most magnificent necklace, earrings and a sweet butterfly Thank you so much. I must know how you made the necklace! A tutorial and supply list would be awesome because I would love to make some for my friends! (Please excuse me wearing my jammies with the necklace!)
Here is my cat bed I made this morning. Thanks for the tute! The only thing I did different was to tape the outer ring together and then overlap the fabric and hot glue. No sewing needed! I used a vintage sheet and everything I had at home. Also, I elevated the inside ring with another cardboard ring, then hot glued it together.
This is Beatrice, a little teddy from an Edinburgh Imports pattern "Terry". She is for my Niece for Christmas. She even has a little heart in her! I made her jointless and embroidered her eyes instead of glass eyes. I made the little dress after seeing the cute little Sock Monkey herd, I used some felt that I had and under the buttons sewed hook an loop tape. I think she's pretty cute!
