Oh wow heathersy, thanks for posting that link, I love stuff like that!

I totally know what you mean about the blue button, I'm in two minds about it. It would be difficult to take it off now because all the charms are attatched by threading them through chain with ribbons! I think i'll shuffle it about so that the button goes to the back and isn't so immedietally visible! Cheesy

Also, thanks Mizua!  Cheesy

Hello Crafterzzz!

Myself and my jewellery partner in crime Lady Kate have spent the week in our little attic room studio crafting, and here's what we came up with...

A few close ups....

Its made of pretty much everything but the kitchen sink, and it weighs a tonne! Love to know what you all think Cheesy

25  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cast your minds back, crochet-style... on: November 01, 2007 07:04:53 AM
Oh cousin Laura!

You had better post the hairy crochet hat picture, it would be a travesty not to. I am in the process of knitting another snood for pepper, hopefully this one won't make her look so eye-stretchingly startled :|

26  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Come one come all post your new tattoo IDEAS! on: October 12, 2007 04:25:26 AM
i love following this thread.

as far as i know, there is no tattoo questions thread, so i hope it's okay here.

does anybody know anything about tattoos on the bottom of feet?  yeah, bottom as in the sole.  i looked online, but i got a lot of conflicting information.

my friend and i both want tattoos there.  it would be her third, my first.  i'm really liking the idea since it's really hidden, but i've never really heard much about this placement.

Where I live some tattoo artists will tattoo the soles of your feet for free, just because it hurts so much and fades so fast!
27  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do you make plastic jewlery on: September 24, 2007 03:34:08 AM
I agree with miseryloveme, thats definately a laser cut charm. You can get them made for you, but unless you have a laser cutting machine lying around you can't do them yourself! (try Zap Creatives, they do custom laser cutting for quite reasonable prices) You can try and get the same effect with shrink plastic, but in my experience i've never quite got the same effect, as it tends to curl a little bit  Angry

we did pretty well at the craft fair, considering it wasn't really our target market, all old people and very very young kids with not much in between lol. We have a myspace, the link is in my signature but we're still in the process of getting it up and running, all very exciting!!
