1  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / how to use table mount warping pegs - help needed(please!) on: January 19, 2009 08:33:10 AM
Hi all,
I have made myself 2 table mount warping pegs, each about 12" long, each with 3 pegs. But, now I have no idea how to measure warp on them. Anyone have any advice, or know of any diagrams I can look at? Thanks so much.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / gluing rubber to rubber? on: June 04, 2006 06:02:35 AM
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows a good adhesive to use for gluing rubber to rubber?
Specifically, I am trying to glue bike inner tubes together. I have tried rubber cement, and it doesn't work.
Anyone have any suggestions. They would be appreciated!!   Grin
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / gingham shirt and duct tape dress form on: November 13, 2005 02:53:38 PM
I'm new here, and just figuring out about uploading pix and posting...so bare with me if I should do something bad...anyway here is a shirt I made from flea market fabric, Simplicity pattern #0627.

I modified the sleeves a little - the patten had more puffy sleeves, and I thought that would be better for fabric pattern.

has anyone else used this pattern? I would love to see pix

and here is my duct tape bodyform.  My super-extra-nice and patient boyfriend spent an hour wrapping me up...and then I stuffed it with plastic bags and foam...it makes me look extra funny and lumpy. And, mostly it works pretty well, but the boobs did get a little funny/smooshy..

ps. i am so happy to have found craftster - what a great community of people!
