11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My first FO a hat! on: January 26, 2006 08:04:32 AM
I just wanted to share my first knit project. I just finished it two weeks ago. It's a K4P2 hat knit in the round It took me about 3 days to complete.

That's my son modeling for me.
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / New Crochet Hook Case on: January 16, 2006 01:10:59 AM
Alrighty I did not know that there were so many of these out there when I offered to make one for Crafty Dame. I knew the basic premise and had seen knitting needle holders. SO I designed my own which was actually quite fun.

If there are any questions on how I made this please ask. It's padded so it looks wavy or whatnot but isn't, well except for that one corner but lesson learned there about binding.

13  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Potter Puff Patch on: December 10, 2005 04:15:47 AM
I cross stitched this little Potter Puff Draco and made it into a patch. I stitched  it onto a messenger bag that I made for the HP4 swap.

14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / New Coat (suited to my individual taste) on: October 23, 2005 04:24:49 PM
My mother and I made a new coat for me this weekend. I was doing fine but had a breakdown after the fourth time of ripping out the lined hood seam so she helped me with that. I had a pattern but basically just used it for the pieces and didn't follow the directions. I also added things like lined pockets and the lined hood. Then this afternoon I made myself this scarf to go with it. I love it it's so me!

edited because I forgot to add: Yes I really like Harry Potter  Wink
15  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Weekend Sewing (Image Heavy) on: October 17, 2005 04:15:44 AM
I spent a few hours this weekend hunched over a cutting mat and sewing maching producing some purses and bags.

Here are the Handbags that I made for myself:

And here is the lining on them:

Here is a messenger bag I made from the cherries fabric and a cowboy tote:

And here is a Monster messenger bag that I made for my sons diapers and extra clothes and he happily carried it wherever we went and needed it yesterday (he'll be 3 in Dec):

I made another reversible messenger bag with some different monster fabric by my mother has it. That one has monsters on both sides and was rather a pain as it was quite directional. I'll post a pic as soon as I can get one.
Thanks for looking  Smiley
