It looks great on you and your mom. I love things that are versatile and fit different body types. Great coat!

I love this so much! The stitch work looks entirely professional. Your daughter has two amazing parents. Smiley

GatsbyGirl--I love the notecards! I don't think you can ever have too many beads. The jellyfish is my fave.

I love the stuff in our gallery so much that I've been back about 10 times just to have second looks at what everyone made. Smiley

Wanna see the fabulous stuff I received from yamwam? I know you do!

It is a sugar skull tea towel, a packet of great patterns, and a very cute knitting card. The sugar skull towel is done all in chain stitch, with I think just 2 threads of floss. I am so impressed! I love it so much and can't imagine just using it in my kitchen. I really need to find a way to feature it in my classroom for the whole month of October! (I'm a Spanish teacher.)

Here are the pics

When I saw this I definitely thought that $50 would be the lowest asking price. I think you could ask for much more though. Honestly, if I had made this purse, I would have a hard time selling it. I would want to keep it!

So glad that everything arrived!

The tree and the bird were free patterns from needlecrafter.com--they were both labeled to be by Alice Brooks. The atomique patterns are so fun. I've seen some cute things done with them--by beetastic for one!

It's funny--sometimes I feel like my crafts look better in pics than in person, or maybe it's just yamwam's great photo skills. Smiley I had a lot of fun making the towel and hankie and know that they are in a good home now. I couldn't have parted with them otherwise. Wink
39  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Monkey Love t-shirt quilt for kids! on: September 12, 2006 12:04:47 PM
That is fantastic. Plus I love the idea of a t-shirt quilt since it is recycled and I'm sure it`s oh-so-comfy to sleep under. Smiley

That looks so incredible! I need a Dia de los muertos shirt for October 'cause I'm a Spanish teacher. Maybe this bit of inspiration will push me to make one for myself. Smiley
