Congratulations!  Yes, babies do take a lot of time (and work, and..).  You might be able to manage May, but probably not before then.  Sad  Probably would be better to wait till they're 3-4 months old though.  Do you know what you're having? Grin

I'm having fraternal twin girls. And I'm in Ann Arbor--so maybe if we do this again in the future we could meet in the Ann Arbor area?

I'm also in Ann Arbor, but I probably won't be able to make it if it's soon because I'm expecting twins any day now. I hear that babies take a lot of time.  Wink

I keep thinking about making a sheet set with these lanterns like the one in the book. Your rendition is fantastic!

I used embroidery stabilizer that the lady at JoAnn's cut me (1/4 of a yard). The name brand is stitch-n-tear and it is the kind that you just put behind the fabric and secure with the hoop.

Jennie Hart is selling stabilizer through her Sublime Stitching website now too and it might be better. I thought that this stabilizer was a little rough. You really need stabilizer for t-shirt material though.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! Smiley

I stitched these up with patterns from the Sublime Stitching Book. (The last picture has some onesies done with a free pattern from needlecrafter.)

These look great! I agree that they do not look like first attempts.

I just went to my local JoAnns and asked for stabilizer and they cut me a quarter of a yard. The name brand is stitch-n-tear and it is the kind that you just put behind the fabric and secure with the hoop. I think there are iron-on types too, but this one was not iron-on.

P.S. Made one more with baby's name. This pattern came from the Sublime Stitching book.

The pattern for these came from needlecrafter.com

I remember my babysitter making one of these for her granddaughter when I was a kid. I wanted one so badly then! It looks fantastic. Smiley

They both look fantastic. I love the only decaf b-4 bedtime one too.
