This hat looked kinda lame on the mannequin but I was inspired by lifelikeweeds' post. So here's my version with tassels! The yarn is Lion Brands' Microspun:

Yep, you read right! My knotless netting assignment (for fibers class) was to make three body parts that somehow nest together and this is what I came up with. Sorry the pictures are kinda crummy, this was incredibly hard to photograph! There's a retired biology teacher who's auditing the class, and she made a urinary system, so we made them fit together.

Just a bunch of FOs, all done with Caron's Simply Soft.

This hat was from a Stitchdiva pattern (http://www.stitchdiva.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SDS-013). I didn't have the right size needles for the ribbing and I figured "why not use the next size up? it's ribbing, how bad could it be?"

I found an awesome thrift store dress to wear to my sister-in-law's wedding, but it's a little tight in the boobular area and needed a bit of coverup. So I made this; it's the Isis Wrap from Interweave Knits, minus the lace. This was my first real garment and I'm very happy with how it turned out!

D'oh, I took this in the mirror so the writing's backwards. It says "Keep on dancing." Anyhow, this was an Adult L tee I found at Goodwill and redid. I love the design! Oh, and the smudge on the boobal area is also from the mirror.

I finally got around to turning my stained pair of jeans into a skirt. This was the first time I'd done pleats and I'm pretty pleased with them. But handsewing through three layers of demin=ouch. So whatcha think?

This is my first knitting project, and the first thing I've posted here. Just a plain ol' scarf, but I'm proud of it 
I learned lots and made a few boo-boos, but the texture of the yarn mostly covers them up.
