The pouches are definitely my favorites. They're so dainty, but awesome!

I definitely agree with wasabipeasrule, they would sell really well at a craft fair. Even consignment might be a good option if you want to sell your wares.

The topstitching looks fantastic!  Grin

Great job. I imagine that the felt would be good for anything hot, like bowls of soup.

Brilliance!!  Shocked

Ideas:

- Clothing: dress, skirt, etc. Not very practical mind you...

- Purse: my personal favorite idea. You could probably attach them with jump rings to form a sheet, and use a string of tabs for the strap

- Earings: one tab per earring, might look cute.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Okay, what do you mean by "The Rock" cotton panel... I'm imaginining a purse with that wrestler The Rock's face on it!  Grin

Yes, I'm referring to the wrestler  Grin

The panel is for a pillow I believe, the appliques are of this logo:

I have some iron on transfer inkjet computer sheets that I may use to put a photo on the bag.  Wink

Thanks for the pattern! I went out today and bought some black suiting material as well as a "The Rock" Cotton panel. The panel has extra printed logos for applique, so I'm think I'll put one on the outside, in the center of the bag. I want my bag to be a good size, with fairly long straps, so I'm going to be doing some tweaking.

There are a couple of things regarding the pattern that I'm not too sure about, being a bit of a sewing novice. Hopefully once I start, I'll be able to figure things out.

Also, Is interfacing completely necessary? I've only made a few purses before, and I really want this one to turn out well.

Advice is really appreciated. If everything works out, I'll be posting some pictures of the finished product  Smiley

Wish me luck!

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Re:non-cheesy scrapbooks on: October 10, 2003 06:58:49 PM
I've made a couple of pages so far, after hoarding many materials. I'm planning on making a scrapbook for my brother, regarding his hockey. I have saved newspaper clippings, game programs, ticket stubs, etc. and I'm getting really excited to start the book. I'm thinking of giving it to him for Christmas, if I have enough pages done by then, and I can continue to add to it throughout the year.

Here is an amazing site for scrapbooking inspiration:

I like to look around in the gallery (loads of examples).

Good luck with your scrapping everyone  Grin
