1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Boyfriend going on teaching placement on: December 19, 2011 01:48:57 PM
Hello!

So, my boyfriend is in teacher's college and he has to move about 2 hours away to do his final placement for a couple months. He's 23 and kind of nervous. I'd like to make him something that reminds him of being teacher-y and to remember to call home. haha. He's unreasonably practical. He really love hockey, drinking and driving his car. He's disorganized, he's witty, likes pizza.

I just want to make him something to smile about when things get tough and something that is potentially practical. (I also want to remind him to call home, and maybe come home on weekends  Wink )

Hope you guys can help!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Need help for graduation cermony decorations. on: May 09, 2006 02:38:48 PM
Alrighty so.. my school is super lame and the graduations are always bad. My school is 7-12 but I've got lots of friends of whom I've been to their grads and they were really just badly done.

So I set out to be the grad comitee.(It's me and 2 teachers.) And I'm working on a ton of things at the same time and I'm totally out of ideas as for what to do for decorations. Because my teachers are very disorgaised it's going to have to be something that I can do on my own or get people in my grade to help out. Like I was thinking to have a picture of every student in our grade (there's 70 of us) and like their future aspirations on like a construction paper quilt and have we are the faces of tommorow written at the top and paste it on a wall.

We were thinking red carpet style or Nostalogie something similar for the dance. But it's not for sure, so if you guys can think fo any better themes I'm all ears.

If you could help, I'd be forever in debt to you. lol. Smiley Thanks in advance.

Love Caity Cakes.
