1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Cherry Blossom / Sakura Swap on: December 11, 2008 12:21:06 AM
I've been on a Cherry Blossom / Sakura binge lately and I was wondering if anyone else was interested in doing a Cherry Blossom themed swap. It would probably be after the holiday season since everyone (including me) is pretty busy crafting holiday crafts.

Let me know if you would be interested. Smiley Thanks!
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Flip Flop Swap on: April 08, 2006 01:33:45 PM
What do you all think of a flip flop swap? I don't know if anyone has done this or not.

My idea is kind of like the "amazing hoodie" swap. Only, customizinf flip flops. It's getting to be close to summer.. ^^ What does everyone think?

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / I May be Knitting a Ranch House Scarf on: February 18, 2006 07:52:22 AM
I am wanting to make the "boyfriend scarf" from this link http://www.imaybeknittingaranchhouse.com/archives/2005/08/ufos_and_fos_an.html. I have a couple questions though.

Number one.. School Products site is on hiatus while they set up their new site. Anyone have any idea when it will be back? Or... even better.. know where I can get the yarn I need or something similar.

Number two.. I am pretty sure you need 3 skeins, but I could be wrong.

Number three.. last question.. the pattern says "K2, P2 until the last three stitches, P2, K1".. is that for every row, or do you switch like when you rib?

Thank you so much!

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Quick Ribbing Question. on: December 05, 2005 01:35:53 PM
I have a very quick question about ribbing. The SnB book made me a little confused because it says knit knit, purl purl.. and then it says knit the knits and purl the purls. Okay.. got both of that.. but then she says.. start row two with knitting the first two stitching. Shouldn't I purl the first two stitches of the next row if I left off with two purls? Thanks!

I was searching in the archives and I found that someone had an idea for a Japanese swap, but I don't know if one was actually organized a swap. If anyone is interested in doing a Japanese swap that would be awesome. I am in love <3 with Japanese culture and stuff from there. ^.^
