1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: An Underselling Discussion: crafting problem everywhere... on: December 18, 2008 11:35:33 PM
My fiance is allways nagging me to price my items lower so that more people would be interessted in buying them. I have a hard time getting across to him that some of the items I make are worth alot more then what he wants me to price them at.

2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Cowgirl boots? Any suggestions how to revamp something into a pair? on: February 18, 2007 11:33:08 PM
I want to do a kind of a custom job, you know. I don't even know where to start to take an old pair of shoes and turn them into something that looks like cowgirl boots. Does anyone have any helpfull ideas?
Like, I have a while to make them, It's for a costume, but I won't need them for a few months.

Charge for the baby dust.

I wouldn't charge for the baby dust. That's asking for more problems then it's worth. Instead, I'de charge for something else, a teddy bear, anything, and then add on the baby dust as a free extra. Chargeing for something like that, can lead to potential law suits. People these days can be very very...um, nuts. If you charge for baby dust and "all there dreams don't come true" or they don't have a baby, someone is going to take it out on you sooner or later.

what am i thinking?
i'm still thinking of sign up in august, but send out would be the end of august. so, i don't know, it might cut a little into the beginning of the school year. maybe a week and a half for sign up, and then about three weeks to send?

i don't know..august is good....i don't know what i'm saying. i'm still rather sick, it's hard to think. duh..august IS the end of the summer.

Mara - I hope you're feeling loads better!  I didn't want to bug you when you were sick, so I didn't PM ya.  You didn't have to send overnight, silly girl!  I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!

Dawn

dont worry. it wouldn't have bothered me..since i wasn't able to use a computer anway. lol, i was stuck in bed for several days. sunday was the first day in about a week i've been able to get up and use the computer and walk around and such (which is good, since i work at a computer in an office all day)

anway..at the very least i can send it out priority, that only takes..three days?

anyway, i have to leave, i'm barely going to make it to the post office on time as it is....
