Dude that looks wicked! I've never liked turkey because regardless of who made it, the turkey was always dry and gross. Even drowning a piece of turkey in whatever couldn't prevent me from tasting the grossness. But every time I see a turkey that looks really good, gives me hope that I will find one that I can eat and enjoy.

Does anyone like spicy Indian lentils? I made a fabulous batch the other night and the boyfriend and I gobbled them up. The recipe is ridiculously cheap and easy, I couldn't believe what a nice dinner I made for pennies!

Yes please!

If you can:

- Buy various herbs/spices you can use for many dishes.
- Shop at a farmer's market, co-op, and/or CSA.
- Grow a few plants/herbs in small pots.
- Learn about wild edibles.
- Barter.
