Oh, those are so cute! I know what you are talking about, but I'm not sure where one would find them. I see them a lot for sale on Soompi.com in the forums, so you might look there?

i'm rethinking getting them done because im playing touch football in a few weeks haha... oh dear

I love those glitter nails, except for the giant jewels on them. I've seen the glitter ones before in a pink color. I'd like to get them done like that.

i had the glitters done once - their a special arcrylic(sp?) that show up really nicely and because its not paint it doesnt chip. they're nice though..
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Help With A 3D Pattern? on: October 03, 2007 06:29:50 AM
hey guys,

I really want to make some dolls for my Fiance, because he's migrating to Australia, and because I'm here and he's in the Philippines at the moment we've spent a long few months apart. And I want to make him something that he'd love so he knows how much I miss him.

So I wanted to make him some dolls from his favourite cartoon, One Piece, and I'm starting off with Dr. Tony Tony Chopper, but I've never made a 3d dolls before, mostly just 2d stuff. So I guess my question is a really broad one, would anyone have any tips or suggestions in helping me make this?

Here are a few pictures of the character I'm talking about...

I'm really in need of help to get this started...  Sad

thanks a bundle!

Heya!

I was wondering if anyone had pictures or like links to pictures or Japanese/Korean nail art magazines. I'm trying to find a few designs that are, too over done but not like the standard french tip...heres an example...

I especially love this ones and want to get this done maybe next week:

I love some of the designs that are done, they're soooo cute!

Thanks!

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Inkjet Shrink Film? on: August 20, 2007 08:26:40 AM
I'm in australia and I baught some Celcast Ink Jet Shrink Film
and I put it thru the printer and all seems good now but im hesitant on baking it but I'm sure that will be fine...
ANYWHO; I was just wondering because it's clear plastic - the printer wont print white onto it. Would anyone have any clue if it's like that shrinky dink stuff a lot of people use; would I be able to just paint on it or would that just go yuk in the oven?
Boy I wish I could just get my hand on those shrinky dinks.

-Alexa.

i'll be sending my package out on monday - simply because my new job has delayed on paying me for my 2 weeks labour. i was meant to send today but when i got to the bank on my way to the post office - i had 45cents. So I have to go into work tomorrow and ask my manager and on monday at 9am when the post office opens my package will be sent in the express mail so there'll be no delay in getting it to twistedbeader. <3
