1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Birth Control Case Mini Wallet (IMG heavy) on: March 29, 2009 06:04:21 PM
That looks great! The way you sewed it was a good idea, mine has sort of floppy sides. And it's a good idea to cut it bigger. I'm gonna ad a note to my tutorial, if you don't mind. The case's color is great too. I'm all excited now!

I've always thought it was ridiculous that every birth control box came with a case. So I decided to repurpose one as my new mini wallet. I hope you like it!

All you have to do is glue some thin cardboard to the sides and sew on some fabric. If you want a more detailed tutorial, you can find it here:

Good Luck!

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: baby blanket size?? on: March 04, 2009 05:17:32 PM
These are my guesses

I would make the kid's ones a little taller than they are and a little less wide than that.

And the general consensus on google shopping for baby blankets is about 3 feet by 4 feet.

Ok, I figured I would try to make it and figure it out. But that is jibberish. I'll keep working on it.

What are you making? Maybe you could find another pattern?
