1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Burgundy Thermis! on: April 12, 2009 11:41:24 PM
Hehe, this was my first knitting project from a pattern... I'm sooo happy! Knitted it in 100% cotton yarn, pattern by Kristen Patay @ Ravelry. (I'm Shouri there)

Also I'm waiting on these gorgeous rose buttons on the mail for it  Grin
Now I'm planning two wicked projects... I wanna go buy yarn for them right now!  Wink

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Live Aus Berlin on: January 04, 2008 04:44:06 AM
I use a Wacom Intous3 6x8 tablet, medium sizes work the best for me because I don't move my hand a lot when drawing (that increases muscle pain). Bamboo sounds like a good starter tablet, the only downsides are the pen tilt and the resolution, but unless you're working at very high resolutions I don't think you'd have much trouble about it Smiley They're very much comfortable than a mouse, I don't feel too comfortable surfing the net with them but if my wrist hurts too much I can do it.

Depending on the tablet and the software you use you can adjust the sensibility levels. I set it in mid-high sensibility so I can draw softer or harder lines just with different pressure. When you color you can also set the brush you're using to 40% transparency to blend the colors better to the point you don't even use the smudge tool. Smiley Ah, and use as many layers as you want XD I go up to 200 layers on a very large piece because I'd rather hide one to go back to where I was rather than loose data.

Photoshop 7.0, many hours, wacom tablet.

Here's a close-up

As any rabid fangirl can tell (heh), this is Robbie Williams in the Close Encounters recital at Velodrom, Berlin. This was his outfit for the first part of the recital (singing Ghosts). Magenta and all, I adore this outfit. I wish I could have it for me 8D.

6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Some drawings and Holiday Cards =) on: December 15, 2007 10:57:12 AM
I'll start out with Watercolors of some of Jun Planning's Pullips  Grin (here's the official site)

This one is named Panda

This is Rovam...

and this is Moon Smiley

This is a drawing I made on Photoshop the other day Smiley It's an old char of mine, and I always liked her design ^^ (click for a larger version)

Finally this is the Holidays cards I'll be giving out this year. They're all original chars of mine again. I saw these adorable Japanese drawings once that had no shading at all in very soft colors, and I wanted to try it for myself ^^ This was also drawn on Photoshop (with an Intous tablet)

I hope the images aren't too big ^^;

Yes, it is hand-painted ^^ I printed the text, copied to the shirt with vegetal paper and painted my way from there X3

Okay, seeing as I've spent time on these, I'd like to show what I made for my partner... uhm, I hope that's alright X3

The photos are really bad though, shame on the flash! I was rushing to close the package so I could go to the post office

I made a "Weasley is MY king" shirt, a Slytherin "locket" (free interpretation of it), Original Albino Peacock Earrings -Lucius Malfoy Quality Endorsed, two sets of 4 handdrawn Postcards (I know I scanned them, they must be somewhere...), a Malfoy Manor mini diorama, and a mini star slytherin book.

I'll search for the postcard and add them later, heh
