1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / About to start a long distance relationship :-( [need craft ideas] on: January 22, 2014 04:13:57 PM
So I'm moving away to start a new job on Friday leaving my amazing BF behind. We wont see each other apart from one weekend a month Sad

I know I've not much time left (Ive been so busy in the move time's flown by...) but was thinking about leaving something for him to find when he gets home so that he smiles and thinks of me. I am planning on making him something special when I'm away and posting it to him as a surprise.

If any of you had any ideas on what I could do before leaving and maybe what I could make him after (I'm thinking a memory box type thing) I'd love your help.

Thanks x

Good Job
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Making a mirror on: May 02, 2010 09:56:46 AM
I've found this picture frame which I absolutely adore for a bargain price the problem is I don't want it to be a picture frame I'd prefer it to be a mirror.

I've heard the roll on mirror stuff isn't very good and wont give me a clear image.

Im low on funds so a glass cutter would kind of be out of the question.

Does anyone have any crafty ideas?? I'd be greatful for your help!! Huh

ive currently got pink cushions, a brown throw and wooden furniture
id preferably like brown/ black (obviously black not goin with the throw) but im not sure as im crap at designin...wondering if anyone could guide me in some sort of direction
thank you

9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Glass Wine Bottles on: April 13, 2006 09:45:33 AM
You can put bubble bath in them, rap a ribbon around them and decorate them a bit an then give them to people for presents
