I'm going to dye my currently black/blonde hair to all black with a fire engine red chunk as soon as my dad leaves for a trip to Malaysia (it was mom's idea to wait till then)
but what brand black dye stays brightest longest?

also, if ya'll have any reccomendations for bright red dye brand, that would be lovely

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My Hope Wall (what is it?) *pic obese* on: May 05, 2007 03:15:52 PM
Not sure what to call this.. but at the Easter service at my church the bulletins were little books with about 30+ 3x5 church related artworks done by artists from Hope (church I go to) I really loved them and wanted to display the cards some attention-grabbing way so I took apart my book, as well as my parents' books, tons of paper clips, and a hole puncher and ended up with this!
sorry for big/oddly sized pics

5  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Hey you Vegetarians! I have a question on: March 13, 2007 01:04:19 PM
I'm 14 and considering going vegetarian, but I don't want it to be a pain for my mom (who cooks for me, her, and my dad almost every night). Is there a way I could go half vegetarian? meaning- only eat one serving of meat a day or should I wait 4 years to go to college and become a vegetarian then?

also.. what are some vegetarian meals Mom could put in my lunch for school?
any input/comments/ideas would be appreciated

Thanks!
Emily
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The Cat Hat on: February 25, 2007 10:33:39 AM
I wanted something new to wear to a show type thing my friend's dad is taking my friends and me to (he won't tell us what it is so I have to clue what to call it).. anyways, I was looking around here for ideas last night and found this awesome hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=136109.0
then I found an old oversized winnie the pooh sweatshirt in the attic and cut it up to make this:

comments and criticism please!
by the way, I'm 14..

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / An Appendix for Callie! *picture obese* on: August 27, 2006 12:39:25 PM
My friend Callie had to get her appendix removed Thursday or Friday. Unfortunately, today is her birthday and I think she is still in the hospital (if not, she still feels just as crappy) So I wanted to make her a present to cheer her up. Logically I was to make an appendix  Grin Complete with googly eyes, wrinkled skin, a smile, and pipecleaner hair!
Enough chatter and on with the pics!
Appendix

I know they don't look anything like this, but this is way more fun!

Every appendix needs glasses and a bow tie/tiara!

Goofy me!

Booger likes it too

EDIT: His name is Appen-Dixon Smith! haha
Thanks!

if anyone can help me find it I would love ya forever
it is a t-shirt material, with a t-shirt neckline.. a pretty lightish darkish green. like a bolero sortof. with bird appliques and paint splatters. if you need  more  descriptions I will.
