I definitely understand what you're going through. They do have some nice patterns in plus sizes though. I have several I bought on sale forever ago that I've never gotten around to using actually. My only suggestion is to be sure and measure yourself and not go by your regular size. I had to go up a couple sizes to get the pattern to work for my actual measurements. Not sure if that means I wear clothes too tight normally (they seem to fit ok) or if they just work the sizes kinda funny. Good luck!

You did an awesome job! I can't imagine sewing clothes by hand. I'm too lazy for that haha. You look hot in your new outfits!

That's so freakin' cute! You HAVE to get a picture with her in it once it's done. Great idea!

I definitely need to make myself some of those! It's plenty cold outside, but sitting in the same auditorium at school for 3 hours without moving can get darned chilly too. Yours look great!

9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: cupcake soaps! on: October 04, 2005 09:38:05 AM
Awesome idea! Does sound like a bit of a pain, but well worth it. You could even make seasonal ones with different colors and such. TFS!
10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: yummy lip gloss(tutorial added) on: October 04, 2005 09:36:19 AM
I can't wait to try this! I made my mom some lip balm from a Bonne Bell kit YEARS ago and she swears by it. I'm sure it's nothing better than what you made. Time to start experimenting for her birthday/Christmas!!
