Eirle, I agree that pictures that capture movement are really special. Yours is great!

We got married around the same time and this is my favorite picture so far:

I have been procrastinating all wedding stuff but I am designing the invitations now and hopefully will have them all done in a couple of weeks. I also made my ring bearers' pillows. I made them with raw silk and the front is covered in a sheer cotton with embroidered polka-dots. What do you all think?

Thanks for the advice! I really just didn't think of myself as a "veil" kinda girl. But I will make it and see what happens.

Here is a picture of my only completed DIY so far, the save-the-dates:

My fiance is a NASCAR fan and I made him a cake with one of his favorite drivers' number  with gel and colored sugar. It made him happy so I thought I would post it:

6  Re: I <3 Coffee/Tea Swap Round 2 Gallery!!! in The Swap Gallery by jeweledmonkey on: April 05, 2006 01:12:51 PM
Yeah, I forgot that I was going to do a description-sorry!

There were all kinds of crackers and candy. The yellow ones are lemon tea candy and are yum! I already had four pieces. And some coffee ones ....mmmmmmmm....Str awberry flavored coffee mix too! And that packet on the front is oolong tea that I think look so pretty I can't get myself to open them.

Then there were two stationary books with cute little bears on them.

My favorite things were those handmade postcards (there were four altogether) packed in a gold fabric pouch and a compilation cd with coffee/tea related songs!(on the right).Smiley

I think these are the first pictures, but my swap partner and I kinda had it easy. Since we live in the same city, we decided to just meet up and swap (is that cheating???). Anyway, it was great to meet Brklyngal and I loved the stuff she made me so here is the great stuff I got! Grin

This is the stuff she got.

And here is a picture of us outside the coffee shop in the cold... Cheesy

9  Finished Onesies in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by jeweledmonkey on: December 30, 2005 09:50:57 AM
I just made these today for my sister's baby that will arrive soon. I used a photo printer my bf bought me for xmas and I loved it! It was pretty easy. Except the instructions of the transfer paper suggested to peel off immediately after the ironing (the meatwad and shake ones were done this way) and they actually came out better if you wait until it cools completely off (the new! and JC ones). The New! one is a knock-off from showroom 64 and the I -heart- JC is because my sister lives in Jersey City across the Hudson from Manhattan. Hope you all like them. Smiley

10  Re: 25 cents for Bead Boxes - Manhattan in New York: NYC and Long Island by jeweledmonkey on: December 16, 2005 06:53:40 AM
M&J (http://www.mjtrim.com) is a trimmings retail shop on 6th Ave and they just doubled their space to now include beads as well. As far as I know, the bead sale has been going on for a few weeks now. All the strands in the front of the store are 99 cents. They have some really cool ones. I made this necklace with those beads:
