1  Texas / Texas: North Central / Dallas Sticks 'N Stitches on: February 09, 2008 10:00:37 AM
Hey Guys,

The following message can be found on Merry Karma's Blog:

Sticks N' Stitches - A Knitting or Crocheting at the Hockey Game Event

So - all you DFW Knitters and Crocheters - here's your chance to spend an evening with the Dallas STARS and do your craft at the same time.

You can bring an already knitted/crocheted square (7in X 9in) or work on one during the game. I am going to connect them all together and donate an afghan to a local shelter in support of Warm Up America.

The link for the ticket form is here

5  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Bzzz Queen Bee on: September 22, 2007 10:11:42 AM

Ignore my crazy eyes!

I've been working on the Bzzz hat and I think I may have made it too big. I just started the decreases and the hat is already past my ears. I may have to do some resizing.

I love how it shows off the Noro colors.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ruby Red Slipper Sock on: August 18, 2007 01:49:17 PM
I went a little nutty making this sock. I was inspired by Frog in Knots baby slipper so I went and made an adult sized version for me. I used seed beads to decorate the red part of the sock.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / More than Meets the Eye on: June 01, 2007 12:21:19 AM

A little something I knit for my brother. I promised this to him months ago but I forgot about it until I saw the preview for the new movie and it inspired me to get a move on this.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Icarus Flying Free at Last! on: April 26, 2007 09:37:09 PM

It took months of knitting and at least a half dozen false starts to get this thing done but it was all worth it. According to my knitting journal I started this on October 19, 2006 and I was done as of April 25th, 2007. To be fair I did put this project down for most of those months but it was still a time intensive project.

The only mod I made was to use size 4 needles instead of 3. With only 8 rows left to go I ran out of the Grape Jelly color of Knitpicks I was using and I ended up having to use some blue I had to finish it off.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Hats Aplenty (img heavy) on: February 07, 2007 03:29:02 AM
I've been steadily working on busting my yarn stash. So far I've got several hats made to use up leftovers.
Angel Lace Hat (w/added bottom ribbing)

Greenery Hat (smaller than the pattern)

Chullo Hat (made up along the way)

Inside Out Chemo Hat (w/added brim)
10  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Headline News on: June 17, 2006 01:05:22 AM
I finished this in one day while having a Netflix marathon. Knit from TLC essentials in pink.

I just finished a secon version of this hat so I'm adding it's picture.
