Here are some pictures of my recently completed Frida Kahlo themed shrine.  I hope you like it!

12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Cowboy Charm Bracelet on: October 28, 2005 08:51:00 PM

This is my first jewellery project.  It was a total pain getting all the jump rings to line up and close properly but oh so much less messy than paints and glue.  What do you think?  I'm pretty pleased with the results.

14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Reconstructed Felted Mitts on: October 16, 2005 10:23:22 PM

This is my first offiicial post with pictures of a finished product! Sorry the quality of the pictures is not brilliant. I made these mitts over the last couple days.  I had a great fairisle sweater that loved but It was starting to get worn and there were a few holes from when I'd snagged it on things.  Instead of trashing it I threw it in the wash and felted it.  Once it turned into felt I traced the pattern of my hands onto it and cut them out.  I just finished sewing them together tonight and voila! mitts!  Because the felt is so dense they will be toasty warm too!
