11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: How the Easter Bunny Really Delivers Those Eggs on: March 22, 2008 09:29:41 PM
That's so cute!!  Can you share the pattern?  I'd love to make an easter bunny too!
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Hat with tank on it! - free tank chart link on: March 04, 2008 03:39:30 PM
I knit my husband a hat with a tank on it (he originally wanted a skull but then changed his mind when he saw a sweater with a tank on it) and lots of people have asked me for the chart.

I've made one and it can be downloaded on my blog, http://thinkingmama.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/tank-intarsia-chart.pdf
I'd love to know if you use my tank chart for something!

15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Lace Pillowcase Insert on: August 31, 2006 04:07:39 PM

I made 2 of these for my friend as a wedding present.  I knitted the heart lace and then cut the flap part off of a pillowcase.  I hand-sewed the lace to the cut edge and then sewed the flap back on to the other edge of the lace.  My friend's favorite color is green so I threaded some green ribbon through the eyelets along the edges.

My friend got married in El Salvador and as part of the ceremony, they needed a pillow to kneel on so they used this one!  I added some ribbons and covertly safety-pinned it to make it look fancier and not like a plain pillowcase.  They loved it!  I have pictures of it in the wedding on my blog here: http://gonnapurl.blogspot.com/2006/08/catching-up.html

That's really pretty!  You should knit the scarf, too.  I think it looks really pretty all together in the book.  Good job!

19  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: FO - Rambling Rose from Rowan 39 on: August 02, 2006 05:04:52 PM
It's really pretty!  You should totally wear it out.  It's so unique, no one else will have a sweater like it and people will be amazed that you knit it yourself!
